Default I'm looking for a specific case

I like to use my blackberry as an mp3 alot but the case I have doesn't completely cover my BB when I have the headphones in. Is there a case out there that covers the phone, but leaves a slit open so you slide the phone in completely and leaving the headphones in?

You mean the headphones pugged in?

Yes, several cases, including the OEM RIM case, with the flap at the top and belt clip.

Are there any that look like the standard case, just with a portion in the top left of the case chunked out for the headphones?

My standard case is RIM's OEM case with the magnetic flap at the top, and space for the headphones and USB to be plugged in.

Are you using the pouch, without the beltclip?

Check out two of our sponsors here, Seido and Fortte for some great case choices.

Yeah, I have the one without the beltclip. I might just do a custom cut and stitch on it. I just want what I have right now, just with a slot open.

Why not use a hole punch in the area you need... maybe a .25" - .375" diameter hole in that area?

That would be easier...but I was wanting to be able to slide it in while keeping them plugged in. I'll think about it.

Ah, I see, yea, good idea.

You know a local leather/show repair shop could probably cut and stitch that slot for you for $5-10.

Maybe. I'll look into it. The more I think about it, leather will probably be pretty difficult to stitch

Honestly, the best case (and certainly the cheapest>>>$9.95) I found can be found at any Wal-Mart... it is called the foneGEAR. Has a velcro strap, allows for earphones to be used while in the case (I use it as an MP3 player while at the gym), and is made of strong material. Of course, there are cases that do look cooler, but if what you're looking for a something strong, dependable and able to accomadate earphones, then this is the one I recommend.

This was linked before though it still would have been a little out of the way to search through:
SENA CASES :: BLACKBERRY CURVE 8300-8310-8320-8330 SERIES ULTRA SLIM POUCH

Only thing the kept me from getting this was the lack of a proximity sensor.
