I've searched the forum but couldn't anything on my issue. I installed this on my Storm but get only have an option to view in portrait mode. Did I do something wrong or am I missing something?

I see the below on my screen in portrait and the keyboard stays on in the bottom half of the screen.

Thanks in advance for any help

I just figured it out! For some reason it automatically puts it in compatibility Mode! So go into options => advanced options => applications=> go to vymail and hit the bb button and click turn off compatibilty mode!!

Love it! This app rocks! I like the idea from PHLAK about the buttons on the bottom.
I've got it working with no problems on .86

I posted this on the CrackBerry forums and got a great response, so I thought I'd spread the word a little more.

This will run on any Blackberry running OS 4.1 and above, actually.

It's fairly light on features at the moment, but I plan to add much more to it.

There is also an audio issue with anyone running the 4.7.0.75 verizon software. There's a pretty major flaw in that version which prevents me from routing sound through the speakerphone speaker, so it will only work through the headset in that case.

Okay so when you're ready to market and sell this let me know I want in on being a distributor! Very nice program.

Hey ever since I downloaded VyMail, on both Storms I've had, I get the stupid App Error 523 screen multiple times a day. I have tried wiping and reinstalling the OS more than once, and have been uninstalling every 3rd party app until it stops. As of right now, the only one left after getting rid of WeatherBug and BBLight, is this VyMail. Is anyone else getting this error very often ever since having VyMail? It HAS to be that app because I've now had this issue on 2 Storms and they've both had VyMail. And like I said, all other apps are now gone and it's still fricken happening. It's such a hassle as it takes time and battery life every single time.

Is there anyway to make this program not run in the background? I get an email everytime I get a voicemail, so I don't need it running in the background. I can open it manually when I get a voicemail..I hate to have unnecessary programs running in the background. Thx

YouMail is a free service -- unless you choose to pay for the extra features. vyMail is a free app that you install on your BB that logs into your YouMail account to retrieve your voicemail messages and display them visually on your BB

I'm saddened, I got an email from YouMail the other day saying they're going to start limiting inboxes to 100 voicemails. While this is significantly more than Verizon's limit of 30, and they still offer a ton of extra features, it still un-cool.

Stupid economy...

Really? You need to keep more than 100 voice messages in your YouMail account? Just save important ones to your computer or have YouMail email you the voice message (which is a free option) and keep the email in something like Gmail.

I currently have 0 messages saved in my YouMail account.

Damnit... this isn't available in Canada, I guess?
New to the BB scene, and VVM is one of the things I miss about my iPhone. I was stoked to see this thread, but yeah... boourns.

Any other solutions for people on Rogers?
