Default 2 Way sync Gmail BIS

Please Login to Remove!

I'm sure this has been posted before, but how come when I check my emails on my pc, my bold still has the email as unread? Is there a way to fix this? Also, people have saying that this issue has been fixed with newer versions of BIS. How do you exactly update BIS? Thanks in advance.

You don't update BIS.
BIS is updated by RIM.
Secondly BIS or Gmail is NOT 2 way sync.

its not an issue.
its just how it works.
if you mark an email read on the BB, it can sync back to the email server etc
but any changes made on a pc email client/webmail wont be reflected in BB
particularlly unread/read

Hang in there miamirulz29...RIM says that 2-way sync is "coming soon". They you can use the new BlackBerry Enhanced Gmail Plugin, which right now lacks only reconciliation from the Gmail main account to the BlackBerry.

Ah yes, I read it wrong.
However its the beginning of august.
Its now the end of sept.
At the time of the thread, BIS 2.8 (with the 2 way sync rumours) wasn't announced.

How is BIS updated, does RIM automatically do it for all phones or do we have to login into our BIS account?

BIS is upgraded on the server.
we do nothing, and its not on the phones.
after the upgrade and you next log in to BIs you may see some changes etc.
