Default Web Browsing Interface Versus WM5

Please Login to Remove!

The main reason I want one of these is for web browsing also..
is this going to be an updated browser or is it same exact like the 8700?

I did play with the Cingular 8125 or whatever that MDA version of theirs that runs on WM5 and its sweet looking but too bulky, crapy battery life, horrible reception, and too many issues & bugs i hear.

Any ideas? This BB 8100 better be worth the wait til Nov cuz my contract is up the end of this month!

Also is there a guestimate on the date or months the QWERTY version of the 8100 will be released? (I've never used either sort oof type but i kinda like the QWERTY vs the SureTYPE but dont want to wait)

Solution: Play with both devices at a Cingular store before you decide.

Kwang, your new or will be new to the blackberry world. One thing you should know is that the 8700 and 8100 are marketed for 2 different segments, 8700 for business 8100 for consumer. Similar to the 7200's for business and 7100's for consumer. RIM will always have at least one of each type on the market to make sure both sides, especially business are happy. The 8700 is not going anywhere anytime soon. Even if the rumored 8200 (qwerty version of 8100) comes out, they will not toss the 8700 that fast. There is still a huge issue with mobile IT security on the business end, and I would doubt some of these huge corporations and government departments would want camera berries with SD cards on their networks.
