Well I have to say that I'm the girlfriend and I have to hear comments all the time from the other half!!! He always says that my face and fingers are always dealing with the BB pearl. I admit I'm addicted to it I love the convenience of having everything right there at my finger tips. LOL LOL All I can say is try to get her one she will be hooked!
ohh my friends get soooo irritated when i'm constantly texting or going online cuz i'm bored... but i think that i got a lot better... when i first got the pearl i used it like it had 1 day of life left... haha... my bb has most definately got me into trouble with my ex. he hated the email thing. he wanted me to be cut off from the world outside of hawaii which is not happening... sooo when you have a problem like that ladies & gentlemen... LOSE THE PSYCHO! i'm sooo glad i'm not like that... ppl look at you like you're seriously crazy & off your rocker.

she hates it because its constantly going off with IMs, texts and calls and she still cant figure out how to go through my messages and call logs. i love it.
She only hates it when I respond to work emails and/or answer work related calls after work and when I'm with her. She understands that I'm never really "off" work though, but that doesn't make her any less upset...
heh, my girlfriend doesn't really like it much that i'm a geek in general, i don't have my pearl yet, getting it tomorrow hopefully, but my current blue piece of crap phone makes her quite angry. but i just keep telling her that me being a geek will make her some money someday, but as for staying connected while i'm with her, i really don't care about the rest of the world at that point in time, lol.

misses hated my BB so much she decided to get one herself….. now I hate my own BB..
now not not only does she phone me for boring non existent talking she can now email, text and IM me to follow up the boring arse phone call!!!! AAAGGGHHH……
Set those filters to stun and put a pin on your device its called Anti GF sorftware!

The issues I have are more or less that I have too many females.
And most of the ones are the consistent ones.
I must talk to them at least once a day/night to keep up the relationship.
Most of them know and understand that I have more women then just them,
and that's why when I am with them, they hate it when I get SMS after SMS after SMS, then the work email is in there somewhere.
Personally, I don't like clearing out my phone call logs, text messages, and emails.
My in/out box on my personal Pearl is around 3000 messages at any given time... and it auto-deletes messages that are 10 days or older.
And when I talk to 10-20 girls a day... I like to know what conversations have gone on, and not worry about consistently removing messages.
Though, I do on occassion for the ones that are especially sneaky and jealous of my phones enough to grab it right in front of me and start digging through it. That's when I have to make the quick jump.
On dates... that is quite possibly the best thing to do in that situation.
I love it when the thing rings, goes off, or vibrates, and clearly I always know when it does... but she looks over at me, and I don't even pay attention, or let it phase me.
Once in a while I still get the "Are you going to answer that?", but most of them just stare at me for a couple minutes and smile.
Because I'm confident enough that I NEVER look at a girls phone. Not even when it's sitting next to me and it rings.. I just grab it and hand it to them.
That also helps install the confidence that I trust them...
But this article of which you speak... Cosmo... ugh.
Worst part about it is that women read that thing like the Bible!
