Does any one still use Viigo?
Please Login to Remove!
Ever since RIM purchased the firm I have not heard anything about it, and based on their website statistics, their site is pretty much dead.
Any one still use Viigo?

I still use it but the rss feeds come in nearly 12 hours later than google reader. I sure hope they can fix this issue.

I import my google reader to thew free app, snaptu and get my feeds immediately minimal wear and tear on my battery compared to Viigo. I dumped Viigo over a year ago.

I use Viigo Lite daily. The feeds are current to at least within the hour or better.

I think I tried Viigo for a day and found it very annoying.
Hmmm....Mr. K uses snaptu...might have to check that out.

I'm not using it. I've tried it, used it a short time, then deleted it, then tried it again later after learning about an upgraded, then deleted again after a short time using. It just never served me better than what I was doing to follow RSS feeds.
As an aside, Twitter -- following tweets from blogs and news sites I'm interested in -- is about to replace RSS feeds for me.

I've been using BerryReader from Bellshare.
I just want a RSS nothing more nothing less, Viigo just got too bloated.
I am looking forward to the integration with OS 6.0 however!

With BerryReader, I didn't see a good way to post to twitter and it sort of locked my phone.

They have updated the app a few times improving performance.
That is one feature I really do miss from Viigo, the ease of sending articles to Facebook/Twitter. I hope they include those options in OS 6.0.

I had Viigo a couple of different times. Used it for a while but it was too big.

I am still using it but have been mulling it just like many of you have. I use it to post tidbits of info to my blogs - for that it is great. But outside of that, I am finding it hard to want to use it at all anymore! I'm not sure what RIM will do with it but they had better do something worthwhile with it.

Because I don't use twitter 24/7, I still have a need for a news reader. Thank you Snaptu.

BerryReader v. Viigo
I've tried Viigo a few times, but its always been bloated and balky, so I always ditched after a week or so. I bought and used BerryReader and liked it much better, but then my IT guy fiddled with my email and now the darn thing won't pull feeds from google no how, no way! So I guess I'll give Bellshare's customer support a try and see how it goes. IMHO, however, BerryReader was superior to Viigo on all fronts -- adding feeds, display, speed, resources, etc. I hope I can get it back working. Not cheap, though.

Most likely the IT policy on your BlackBerry is preventing it from working.
You can try deleting and re-installing the app, but I do not believe BellShare will be able to do much for your situation. Since it sounds like a BES IT Policy.

I use Viigo multiple times throughout the day. It serves my needs very well, and I'm happy with it.
I hope RIM continues to develop and improve it.

I liked Viigo when it was an rss reader, dumped it when they added all the other crap.
