Default app world problem - download stuck

Please Login to Remove!

Okay, so I was downloading some apps the other day and decided to find out if Pandora had updated. I hit the download button and when the download was complete it showed the same version as what I had so I hit cancel for the download.

NOW, in 'My World', I have Pandora listed as 'paused'. If I hit the trackball to continue the download it does absolutely nothing at all and just turns to 'downloading...' without doing a thing.

I have uninstalled App World, I have uninstalled Pandora, and have re-downloaded both yet 'My World' still shows this error on the phone. How in the heck can I remove it from the list!!!???

You could try a battery pull with your BB on take the battery out for about 30 seconds and put it back in.

Which version of the App World are you running? Supposibly the earlier versions of the App World had a few downloading bugs..

I'd check back at Mobile.BlackBerry.com and see what the current version 1.0.0.29 is the latest.. I think.

One of the first things I tried - everyone is always to say the 'pull the battery' line when something is wrong haha.

The only solution I found that worked was to wipe the device totally with JL and then reload the OS and restore the backup. Lot of work just to get the stupid stuck download removed if you ask me. Latest version of App World too (.30)... so this just tells me RIM has some work left to do with this app...
