Default Webmail with @rogers.blackberry.net ?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everyone, just a quick question.

Is the only way to view our emails sent/recieved from our @rogers.blackberry.net account on our BlackBerry? It'd be good if there was a webmail client for this address... does anyone know if there is?

Thanks!

Nope. The e-mails on your rogers.blackberry.net account are not accessible via the browser or any other way.

RIM removed the webmail function around the time when they changed the name from BWC to BIS.

Bummer, so if my BB ever bites the dust, I'm outta luck as far as getting my @__.blackberry.net emails until I got a replacement? That sucks, not only for if my phone stopped working, but there's also times when I'm out of cell service but I have internet available. Would be nice to be able to get the @___.blackberry.net mail over the internet, or at least be able to forward emails to that address to another email such as Gmail or Yahoo.

Lightbulb Blackberry forwarding/webmail e-mails setup ideas

Here is how I setup my BB:
[email address] forwarded to [email address] I filtered which emails to forward to BB on myemailaddress.com AND setup filters on blackberryemail.com - this way I am double protected against spam or those not important emails.
This way you can always check your @myemailaddress.com e-mails (yahoo, google etc) on the web, and @blackberryemail.com will work as a forwarder to your BB only

Out of curiousity, how come when you delete emails out of that account it asks if you want to delete from "mailbox & device" then?

It doesn't under BIS 2.3...at least not for me.
I think it said that just because it was treated by BIS like any other account.
