Default Audio Files Only Visible in Explorer Mode

Please Login to Remove!

Audio files I add to my storage card are no longer detected by the media player. To play them, I have to use the "Explore" option. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

It seems to have started after I interrupted a file transfer. Stuff was copying to the SD card via USB, and I unplugged the device to answer a phone call by mistake.

Wirelessly posted (8310; The Juggernaut)

With the BlackBerry powered on, remove the battery, replace it and let it reboot, and see.
Good luck.

Thanks for your reply. Well, your replies, really - you are easily among the most helpful posters on any messageboard.

Is there a way to do the "battery pull" without removing the battery? E.g. would the Soft Reset app I've seen mentioned do the trick? I'm using a hard case that's next to impossible to remove.

I used SoftReset on my 8100 and my wife still uses it. I tried it on my 8320 when I first got it and it wouldn't work. That was a long time ago now and I just stick to the normal battery pull these days.

For Curves, you don't need the SoftReset program. All you have to do it press ALT+CAPS+DEL. It'll reset your phone.

Sometimes you have to do it more than once. If you do that and the phone restarts right away try it again. You should be seeing the hour glass for a minute or so to know you got a good reboot.
