today i received my bluetooth dongle from newegg and was wondering what is the default password for my PC/BB?

Does the manual tell you? I don't know about BT dongles, but my BT headset had the password in the manual as 1111

If I'm not mistaken you need to put the dongle in pairing mode and then place the headset in pairing mode..They will connect. Then place the headphones in pairing mode and pair it to the blackerry.

I have the Blueant wireless headphones and that's how they work...Their is no password to pair the dongle to the phone because the dongle plugs into the headphone jack.

I've always used 0000 for everything and it works. Seems like the standard factory default.

ok well i found out what i was doing wrong i had set NO PASSWORD on my pc and i guess teh BB 8100 dosent work with the no password setting
