Once Opera Mini 4.2 is installed, there is no icon in "application program" or "game" folder, as far as I can see, the Opera Mini 4.2 installation file locates in "download" folder. Every time I run it, it says "installing" and popup two messages which are trying to connect to some website. Let them pass through by saying "yes", after a long time wait. Opera Mini 4.2 starts to work. but it's NOT convenience. Doest anyone have similar problem?

I guess 8220 is not compatible with 4.2 version since it's not listed in their website list.

Opera Mini tends to load full websites rather than mobile oriented ones. It's not all that fast, especially on EDGE versus wifi.

But is it installed an working? It sounds like you're saying you are having to install it every time you use it. You might want to try loading it from the desktop if it's not installing properly from the over the air version.

There is a generic version that might work if a model specific one does not.

thx for reply. I tried the link you provide, but I don't know how to deal with those two files. However, I found a 4.1 version. Installed. Fixed the repeating installation problem. Now, ever time I click on Opera Mini, it loads up kinda instantly.

it does work. DL the one for the reg pearl. and use bb desktopmanager to install it. the first time it is slow, but after it works fine. and is also fun to use!
