Default Anyone having issues with the blackberry symbol in between the 3G and signal bars?

Please Login to Remove!

I have had several instances where the little Blackberry symbol indicating you are connected to BES/BIS dissapears often even when I have a good 3g signal. When this happens BES/BIS, BB messenger, Browser does not work and things just pend.

I have rebooted several times.

Yes it happens and in transition from 3G to Edge its not pretty either. I can see how ATT felt the Storm pressure and this has issues for sure.

Just out of curiosity, what OS do you have installed?

It looks like setting Jivetalk to use TCP instead of BIS is possibly the culprit. Beejive said they have seen issues with the Bolds use of TCP. I set it back to BIS and it seems better.
