two browsers?
Please Login to Remove!
Can some explain why I have two internet browser icons? One is "browser" and the other icon is "internet browser." It is redundant to have two icons that do the same thing. Is any one else experiencing this as well?

I have it on my 8700g but I just hid one of them. Like you said, they both go to the same place.

Actually they are set up different, the Browser is for viewing WAP sites and the Internet Browser is used for HTML sites

All the settings on both of my browsers are set up exactly the same. They both work the same on several tested web and wap pages.

When you open a link, do you get the same splash page while it's making the first request? I get distinctly different splash pages.

Are you on a BES? One of them might be going out to the internet via thru the BES (which allows you to access company intranet sites).

No BES, must be carrier specific, or because I refuse to transition to BIS 2.0. I have still have two separate Browsers. And they are different

BIS users have two browsers. BES users have three.
WAP, BES/MDS, and non-BES/MDS are the possibilities.
