If it is already available on T-Mobile, how is it "exclusive"?

Interesting because T-Mobile has the phone now. I wonder when ATT will announce or if it will.

I hope they have it soon I went to a couple AT&T stores on the 17th and they said they weren't getting it so I guess we'll see.

Sometimes an OS load will show a carriers ID and that does not mean it is official or ever will be.

Yeah I gave up hope on getting a 9780 on ATT. I'll just stick to the 9700 until something else comes out.

Would an T-Mobile-branded 9700 work on AT&T's 3G network without any problems? Are there any guys out there presently using a T-Mobile 9780 on AT&T's 3G network?

Yes but NJblackberry reminded me, you'll only get EDGE, no 3G..

Carriers love the people who have to have the latest. I dont see much that the 9700 does different. To me it looks like the 9700. The exception is 1 hour on battery time. 5 vs 3.2 meg camera and 512 memory.

Tsac you're right...its looks exactly like the 9700. As you may see from my previous posts, I just sold my 9700 and switched to tmobile just to get the 9780. So yes carriers like people like me. I have to say that I DO notice the improved speed of having 512. The camera is improved and noticeable. I use my BB quite a bit and haven't noticed an extra hour of battery time.
The OS6 menus take some getting used to (as with any new OS). The browser is a big improvement. They should make a software upgrade just for the browser for all other blackberrys. But one thing with the browser is i can't find how to change the emulation to IE or Firefox...so on some websites I cannot keep it from using the mobile version of the site. The work around was to download BOLT browser.
