Default I've had Curve for 2 months and it's FANTASTIC!!!

Please Login to Remove!

I've had this BB Curve for two months now and have put it through heavy use and it is Fantastic! I find I use the computer less too. I've had many cell phones over the years and none have come close to this one.
This forum has been a great source of info! Many Thanks!
Here are a couple good photo's of finished red faceplate install done recently.

I just switched from the 8830 to the 8330 last week, at first I wasn't sure about it however now that I have had some time to really get used to my new device I really love the curve far better than the 8830.

i agree, I too switched from the 8830 to the 8330 and really like it. I cannot wait for the 9000 to be released for Verizon. Who knows when that will be but I have read the it will happen.

So ALL the icons stay up or is it just the 5 icons to the side or something? When I click the red phone button all the icons got to the bottom on mine.

Click on your Options icon, then Theme and select T-Mobile Zen

My icons are all on the side vertically. When I double click the red "hang up" button, nothing happens.

Your in the BB Dimension Zen Theme. Do this:

Click on your Options icon, then Theme and select T-Mobile Zen
Be sure to save it by clicking the trackball or you'll revert back to what you had.

I don't have that Theme as an option as AT&T is my carrier.

Oh... I guess T-Mobile is different. I thought it was BB program and they should all be the same?

Then your either going to have to wait for someone with AT&T or play around with it until you figure it out. Sorry I couldn't help you more.

You could always do a search for "Unlocking Vendor Themes" ... See what this yields ya.

Hey Jack,

Where did you get the red faceplate? Or did you just paint your current one?

I have the Verizon Curve and would like to somehow get/make a black or gray faceplate.

To get the Tmobile theme on your ATT curve, open the blackberry.alx file, search for 100 for vendor id and delete that whole part, their is a post on exactly how to do it : http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ee-memory.html

Not difficult to get vendor themes, slightly confusing at first though.

Don't be intimidated by Clark's optimization thread length, it's got gems in there.

I never thought I'd find myself using stock anything, but the Tmobile theme is perfect.

I got mine at cnn.cn
They were a little slow on shipping... it took 19 days to get here.
You can find other who sell those. They work on most 8300 series. Mine was for AT&T but worked perfectly on T-Mobile.
Here is the post on how I did it too:

Crimsom Red faceplate install procedure for Blackberry Curve
