I agree with the OP. Why hold new forum members accountable as if they should understand what users who have been on here for years know? Many of them are lucky if they just get the message posted, let alone how to search for anything or proper forum procedure. I've seen more and more of this going on of late and I'm quite sure it doesn't make the new members feel very welcome.
