I've had an 8310 for about 1 month now with no problems with either of my Yahoo! Mail or GMail accounts. I exchanged my 8310 for another one the other day and have now only been getting my email from both services very infrequently (hours apart) and in batch mode (5-10 all coming down at same time). I a newbie but have gone through the help instructions with no luck. Things I've tried include:
- Re-registering the HRT
- Re-downloading the Service Books
- Deleting my accounts on my 8310 and again re-downloading the Service Books

BTW - my att.blackberry.net account gets email immediately so I know I have connectivity.

Any suggestions?

Make sure you have updated your Device PIN and Device IMEI in the email setup.

Why dont you set your Yahoo and Gmail account to forward mail to your att.blackberry.net account?

There is no need to do that they are both pretty much instant push.

I am new to Blackberry. Just got the 8800. It was locked to Vodafone but I have got it unlocked to O2. I can use all the phones functions except the push email from Yahoo. The gprs signal is always lowercase. The HRT editor table entries are all blank. Please advise.

I had this same problem when I swapped phones. I had to delete the email accounts from the BB site and re set them back up. This solved my problems.
