I am having 8300 with Hutch in india.
I get the exact same service error as well, and I'm with T-Mobile. Must be some type of handset defect. I just hit the OK button and keep on!

Default Curve Build Quality???

I just got a Red Curve from ATT. I have been using a 8703e from Verizon. Does anyone else have the feeling that the Curve wont hold up? The keyboard feels like jello. I really like the features but was wondering if anyone else had the same feelings or how the Curve holds up over time. My wifes 8830 feels rock solid.

Send it back there is something wrong. My new Curve is solid, very solid. The keyboard is the best of all the BlackBerry's I've had in the last year (approx 9). So if you have a keyboard as you describe, AT&T will be happy to exchange your phone for a new one. But get it done soon.

Just got my TMO 8320.
Why use BES if there are other solutions like Hotmail, Gmail, etc?
I am only using WiFi right now and understand the need for instant communication but I have WiFi access points every place I need to be.

Default Need help using 8300 as a modem for my macbook?

Anyone know how to us an 8300 as a tethered modem with a macbook. I've install the proper 8300 modem script, configured bluetooth for both the computer and 8300; set up the correct account and password for att/cingular. Unfortunately when I go to connect when it tries to authenicate the user it fails and I get a message saying there was no response from the server.

Default Help with 8310

I have an 8310 in UK and it is great. However, I want to change the number of rings on the phone but cannot seem to get more than 3. I am missing lots of calls before I can get the phone out. How can I get it to ring continuously (in or out of the holster) until it is either silenced or answered? Thanks.

Contact your wireless provider. They can increase the time before ring up to a max of 30 seconds (usually.)
