Sounds like some clown, besides that my rates are most affordable and I have the feedback and customers to back me up. Someone should remove the redundant posts

Sachin.g - I am officially declaring you a spammer.

Stop posting about unlocking unless you offer the service yourself. GSMLocker and GSMPhoneSource, along with the long established Bongo Wireless are well known here.

Immediately stop posting multiple posts about how you can unlock.

Thanks.
I called the number today and they told me that they can not unlock ANY BlackBerry devices ????

I read that this is not true, how many time did you call before someone told you that you can or can not unlock ?

I'm confused. Who is "Adam", how do I reach him, how much does he charge and can he unlock the launch party 8700s?

What company is Sachin.g with, and what other names does he operate under so that I can be sure to avoid him.

Thanks.

Adam is with Gsmphonesource.com (actually, he IS gsmphonesource.com). Good guy, trustworthy, not expensive IMO (like $45 to unlock an 8700 on ebay). BUT he cannot unlock the launch party 8700s, at least not the last time he tried for me...

I was able to call the International Support line for Cingular and they said they could unlock my phone. While they were at it I asked them to unlock my old phone as well.

So a 10 min phone call = 8700c unlocked & 7290 unlocked

(note the unlock keys came a day or two later via email.)

I had the same thing. I am only a Cingular customer for 2 weeks and call had a 2 min phone call with International Support, sent a fax and had my 8700C unlocked the next day in my e-mail. It was FREE so a HUGE plus in my book.

So, I've been reading a lot tonight about unlocking... I'm neither a Cingular nor a T-Mobile customer yet.

If I want to get an 8700c on T-Mobile, do I just need to go to T-Mobile, get a basic phone (any special features?, one of the free ones?) and sign up for a contract with them, then get an unlock 8700c and move the SIM over? That simple?

if you have an unlocked bb yes it is that simple(of course you have to activate bb data plan on t-mobile if you want the feature but that is no problem at all)

unlocked bb will work with any sim (gsm company) in the world.

i wouldnt go and buy a phone from t-mobile you can just buy the sim card and put it in your unlocked bb, call em up and activate the service you want.

Thanks!
