That's just your crappy Scarbeeria area with 3G in general.

Just updated from .241 on mine (unlocked and debranded)

Not noticing anything different or unusual right now, except for one thing. When I am on 3G....instead of getting the Blackberry logo as I had previously, I have:

3g

Switching over to 2G only shows EDGE (in all caps) as before.

EDIT: I spoke too soon. No data was able on 3g; however, resending all service books completely restored the 3G Blackberry logo...and all data connectivity.

It doesn't put QuickLaunch out of business at all.

I don't think it's meant to be anything like a quick launch. It's just an easier way to get to the task switcher. Probably for better one-handed usage. Instead of pressing a combination of keys, you get to hold in one key. Same probably goes for now being able to press the BB button to select items in a menu. Quicker to press the same button rather than one to pull the menu then have to move your finger/thumb to a different button to select.

so the best upgrade would be the official .247? (previously running on .237)

Pretty sure the "official" and the beta are the exact same code. But I guess if you want to feel safer, install the official one =D

Default GoodBye .247

So close. Think I'll have to give this one back. Something isn't quite right with the Radio and Battery. 90% real good 10% +/- too peculiar.
Really going to miss this one but .234 better suits my environment.

.237 is soooo stable, i absolutely love it. .245 was HORRID i downgraded in a matter of hours. i'm still having a small issue with battery life on .237, but it's better than what i had with the leak on .245.

if .247 is as close to .237 then i might just do an official upgrade. still waiting for more feedback.

God, how much feedback do you need to make a simple 15 minute upgrade that you can always downgrade from? Here's 37 pages of feedback. Happy reading.

Now only if it was 40 pages, it would have made the decision so much easier ;)

BTW, I am on 247 so don't flame me
