Default Pearl modem wont install

Please Login to Remove!

I have read several threads about using the pearl as a modem for my laptop. I am running Vista home, when I try to install the modem it wants to go through a wizard and will not complete the setup. Does anyone have a work around for the process?

What do you mean by it will not complete the setup? Where does it stop?

After I query the modem it says success
Then this his is what I do:
with the desktop manager running
Start>
Connect to.
Set up a connection
Connect to the internet
Set up connection anyway
Dial up.

This is where it stops. It gives me the option of try again or set up anyway. I can go and set the connection but it says it cant create the connection.

I hope I am not being to vague.

Are you connected with USB or Bluetooth? Do you have a BB Tethered Plan with ATT?

USB no tethered plan but I have the unlimited internet plan. I don' think its a problem with a plan, but a configuration with the BB or PC.

With ATT you must have the BB Tethered plan in order to use it as a modem. I have the BB Data Unlimited and I have the BB Tethered with my ATT phone.
