Default real-time sports scores?

Please Login to Remove!

Anyone know of any software to get real-time score reporting for games.

I am particularly interested in Soccer. English Premier League etc.

I was hoping something existed for the BB like MatchCast etc.

Thanks,
DG

I don't now of any software around for live scores. I usually us Goal.com is a real neat and informative site. Goal.com is also a mobile site when you use a Blackberry, etc. A real informative site. Another thing I do is text Google SMS and get scores back in no time.

I like Viigo, but it doesn't offer scores for soccer.

Have you sent a request?

I know a bunch of people requested NHL Scores and they added it in the newest release.

I very recently downloaded Viigo beta... Build 3.0.246 and still don't have NHL. Is it only in a private beta release so far?

Edit >> I stand corrected. As of 10/9/08, NHL was added to Viigo and far more than just scores. All the requests did pay off.

PocketDay Sports (PocketDay) has near real-time scores for all Major sports. Unfortunately, only the World Cup is supported as far as soccer goes.

It would be nice if it showed the remaining time in a hockey period. it only notes the period that is taking place at that time.

Totally agree.. sent that request to Viigo. Since Viigo isn't real time... seems 5-10 mins behind for NHL. The only way to give it some context is with time in period.

For soccer fans.. noticed far more soccer support now in Viigo (not for me but since it was earlier in thread)

I always have used ESPN Soccernet's WAP site for EPL and other football scores in Europe. It's a quick and easy to use site, but I am going to give goal.com a try, thanks for the info.

Cheers

Viigo is like 2 periods behind realtime NHL scores. Poor program.

If it's real time scores you are after I would think that google would be the best, especially Google SMS, haven't use it much but from what I've tried it seems to be a great resource.

Works but seems like a lot of trouble to send a SMS msg and have to receive the reply to get a live score. There should be web sites w/live scores that are mobile friendly. I know ESPN has scores and the mobile browser can be set to auto refresh, but I don't think they're live.
