Hi all,

having to bring my NEW () BB 8310 to the Vodafone ITA assistance (reset continuously when not connected to a power supply and with any FW) I need to reinstall back the original FW 4.5.0.44 Platform 2.7.0.61

Does someone know where to get it ? In the usual sites I couldn't find it...

i don't recall that OS every being released by VodafoneIT, with new devices.

Are you sure it was not a 4.2xx release you need?

Sure Buddy, I received the device three days ago after a quite long time from the order and it was equipped with 4.5.0.44. For the problem it has (need to be connected to a power supply otherwise resets) I installed the latest DM and the latest FW (.55). The problem remained unchanged and, having now to go back to Voda, need to reequip it
with .44 in order to avoid voiding the warranty... Also some guys in Italy were surprised of this new release from Vodafone anyway...

Is this what you are looking for?

It was easy to find - there is a sticky thread with the current version. At the bottom was a link for the prior version. I clicked through until I found 4.5.0.44

You're right Mod, it was easy. I asked for the link having just a slow pay-per-use gprs connection in my vacation place and couldn't search too much around. Next time I'll search better; promised.

Thanks again
