No I am refering to a Blackberry from tmobile bro I have been around awhile I know when I see a real blackberry. The guy I am refering to works for RIM not samsung. I got the pleasure of playing with the 8700 before it came out as well.

Bro I didnt say you were accusing me of lying I am sorry it sounded like i was saying that. Its all good.

I am not a RIM employee and I have not let anything out of the bag taht i shouldnt have. Thats why I havent posted pictures so he nor I will get in any trouble. Only giving details of what i saw and played with.

One thing I didnt catch before posting the image was that you stated the new BB that you played with was full QWERTY. The image looks as if it is suretype. It looks as if we're looking at 2 possible new models coming this fall.

I was hoping you would weigh in on this, boygenius. Unfortunately, I can already tell that those of us on Sprint will just be getting the 8700 while the GSM carriers will get the latest greatest. Guess we should be used to it by now, but...

8702 for sprint nextel, 8703 for Verizon, and CAMERA BLACKBERRY FOR GSM BABY...it's not a direct insult to you, you just have to understand IDEN/CDMA is very sparsely used in the world compared to GSM therefore manufacturers aim at GSM because of the return, would you rather target 100 million people or 7 billion?

Oh, I understand. I don't like it, but I understand. Hopefully come September I'll be calling Sprint to order that 8702!

So, What i want to know is if Dawg's friend has a job still? This device is RIM's most highly kept secret and people at RIM have lost jobs talking about it outside Waterloo, let alone showing it to people. I have an NDA with RIM and that still isn't enough for me to get info on on. I just know a new device is coming in a few months.
It is always fun to be the first to bring news but I sure wouldn't do it to risk a friend's job.

Yeah and the Atlanta address would help them narrow it down, wouldn't it? But..... since there is value in creating a 'buzz' around an upcoming rollout I wonder if they really mind. Why would they give a field rep a device like that if it's supposed to be kept under wraps. Maybe it's a fine line.......

Dawg, I've got your back covered on the T-Mobile prototype. I got to hold one today. Has a camera. Couldn't tell if it has MP3, it didn't have a battery. Very cool form factor, approximately the same size and shape as a 7130c, very unique keypad configuration that seems easy to use.
