I saw the new os 4.3 yesterday. Coming out the end of feb. I was talking to a RIM guy at a tradeshow. The new 4.3 is coming out for rogers on the new Blue Pearl. The os will be available end of march for upgrades.

I saw the new blue pearl pretty slick. Also some sweet features on the new 4.3 os including the video camera.

OS 4.3.0 has been available for the 8120 and 8130 for quite some time now. It is also available for the 8110. This is nothing new. OS 4.3.1 will be the new OS that will be available in the Feb-May time frame for all other 8000 series devices (not sure if the Pearl 2 family will get it or not at that time). There is a difference in OS 4.3.0 and OS 4.3.1 - OS 4.3 refers to the entire family and/or OS 4.3.0.

I called AT&T yesterday and asked them if they were going to update the 8300 and they said the only device that was getting updated was 8310. I hope this is wrong cause I want 4.5 on 8300

I have a question, hopefully it hasnt been answered because I cant find it anywhere.

I use the calendar on my 8100 a great deal. Will this 4.5 update allow the ability to color code appointments like outlook does? This would be helpful when just glancing at my calender

Did you hear this from an 800-technician or from someone actually at AT&T? That's the direct opposite of what I've heard since Day 1 (and has since been affirmed time and again by all carriers).

I heard a rumor of the first/second week of April from a European carrier. it's unsubstantiated, though. Personally, I think it's close.

woohoo I'm excited to see how revolutionary it's going to be (JK) hehe. But I am honestly excited to see what's going to be in the palm of my hand That's for sure.
