I have a BB 9550, a comcast email, use verizon and outlook. incomeing emails appear on BB and on outlook but emails sent from the BB don't appear on outlook and vice versa. Any ideas?

Email doesn't sync unless you are on a corporate BES. You would need to BCC all outgoing messages to yourself to get them to show up.
