Right, found a copy of 4.5.0.45.. Anyone notice that the trackball makes no sound ?

It's sluggish compared to the latest stable.. Hour glass mode kicks in several times. I had to battery pull it a few times.

I am going back to stable. This is my only phone and its my lifeline for work.. All that for HTML email? Nah.. Looks promising though

There is a newer build floating around but who knows when we'll see it.

I did'nt notice the trackball doesn't make sound, I've always had mine set not to. This release is much more stable that the previous one, and my device seems a lot faster and less sluggish after getting used to .33, but thats why its a beta.

I dont have the 8330, but from what I've read on other sites, this version seems rather superior to the other version. I assume .51 will be out for you all soon.

I installed it this morning so far:

EVERYTHING works! The only bug is with user defined themes, application screen defaults to bb dimension layout on some themes. HTML emails are a dream come true.

Other than that, it is faster, 39 mb free with doc to go, viigo , vlingo, weather eye, pocketday loaded. Google Maps works fine as does BB Maps. Youtube plays videos without skips. Multi-line select is fixed. This is as close to a full release as I have seen. Memory leak seems to be much improved. Other than the Banner issue (which matters to me because of my theme builder) this is a good stable version, 9.5 out of 10. The 4.5.0.33 build did not last 6 hours on my Berry!

Do you have to delete the vendor file before upgrading from 4.5.0.33 to .45?

Funny enough, I didn't have to - realised it after it was fully installed that it was still there. perhaps it was originially meant for Telus, though.

Curve 8330 running 4.5.0.45 (65)

I watched a few short videos, two that were stored on my card and one from mobile youtube and I had two reboots while doing so, one other random reboot experienced yesterday as well, it seems 45 fixed some things but hosed up others on me. Anyone else try video?
