Will 4.6 be coming to the Curve and other current devices? Will it look like the BB Bold's 4.6? Or will RIM just stop updating the older devices after 4.5? Also, what new features does the 5.0 beta have? I have seen some people with it.

I've Heard rumors the 88xx will get 4.6 but lets get 4.5 out across the board first

Of course with the Bold coming out later this month who know whats going to happen... Time will tell, where going a completely new BB before we a software update for the exsisiting BB's.

The 8000 series devices will go straight to 5.0.0, most likely. If not, they may make a stop in the land of 4.6.0 or 4.7.0, but I somehow doubt it (as there are betas of 5.0.0 for the 8000 series now).

You also forgot about the 802.11n features on the VZW 8830 with 5.0.

I bet 5.0 would be extremely interesting. I bet the changes are vast.

Considering what they put into two FREE service packs for BES (with SP6 putting back HTML they pulled from 5), and the device OS going just from 4.2-4.3 to 4.5, it will be interesting indeed.
