**UPDATE** Figured it out. AT&T lists my device as an 8110 so that's what I downloaded. I just looked at the ABOUT on my BB and its really an 8100.

When I start the DM it pops up saying an update is available. I click the UPDATE NOW, the software does its thing and comes back saying NO SOFTWARE UPDATE IS REQUIRED.

I've installed the update from above (deleted vendor.xml and removed MSD card), and I'm running DM 4.6. I currently have 4.5.0.52 running on my BB.

Any ideas??

Fixed my issue. Had at&t replace the BB under warranty and it worked perfectly. Plugged it in and worked first time right away. Weird.

Has anyone else experienced an issue opening the About screen from Options after this upgrade? So far it's the only thing I'm noticing to be a problem on my ATT 8110.

Before I upgrade my Pearl, I would like to retain my preloaded pics. My parents upgraded their Curves and the upgrade deleted all their pre-loaded pics. any ideas?

the only issue i noticed in this version is my GPS does not seem to pick up a signal when i perform a search or use in an application..i might just try reloading this to see if i can fix it

question..i noticed geotagging is an option in the camera options...was this available in previous versions and i just didnt see it or is this the first it's available?

i was just wondering if i installed the os, then would i get docs 2 go and secondly im on tmobile UK is it possible to upgrade, using the link and lastely will i lose any of the data or applications which are currently on my phone?

Yes, you'll get Docs To Go.

All your data and applications will be backed up and restored.

Decided to jump in and install this operating system which went smooth and quick last night. Wanted to put it in earlier but waited hoping at&t would release it. Only problem I've had which has dogged me the last 3 months is Desk Top Manager on my PC loads 2 copies when PC boots up. I tried uninstalling / reloading, no luck then uninstalled and checked registry the second time removing any rim entries still no luck. 2 copies load on bootup. I was reluctant to upgrade firmware but finally did it anyway.

8110 runs fine with this version.
