Default AT&T Price for Curve

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

AT&T Price for Curve is listed as $199 as you all know after contract + discount + rebate...

But, I am currently an AT&T customer with no data/blackberry plan, and don't have any long-term contract right now (expired a few months ago).

So, am I eligible for this price?

Thanks.

Sure, why not! Just make sure you do it at a company owned store. I'm pretty sure it'll run ya $299 with tax at the point of sale, and then you get a $100 mail in rebate. So not a bad deal after all. Don't forget your monthly plan is going to up as well with an unlimited Blackberry data plan, about $39 bucks will be added to your monthly bill. That's unlimited email, and web browsing. Text messaging is extra, if you text a lot grab the unlimited for $19 bucks. But $199 at the end of the day for the unit is what it is right now.

It's only $29 for unlimited personal BIS (BB Internet Service) that $39 plan includes 1500 text/pics messages.

Also if you don't mind shopping online you can probably do the upgrade via letstalk.com wirefly.com or amazon.com and get it free ;)

Given that Curve is having a lot of issues, and in most cases an exchange is a must, do you think it is wise to buy this unit from some place like wirefly or amazon? With the cost of exchange at these places (as opposed to free at a store), you will probably match up the cost, right?

It's not a scientific study (SSS), but about 8 people at my company have gotten Curves so far and not one has had to be exchanged.
