Been using the Pearl for about 2 weeks now. Upgraded from the 7130 and a nice upgrade at that.

I have the unlimied Data plan and we also use BES. I finally when to the Entertainment icon and selected Sprint TV to see what that was all about. Went through the whole process and installed the app. Install was successful. I run the app and it just sits at the Sprint TV Spash screen with the yellow bars sliding at the bottom. Nothing happens after that.

From everything I have been seeing is that with the unlimited data plan is that Sprint TV is part of it. I tried calling Sprint Support, but they dont seem to know what end is up.

What I can only sum up is that maybe Sprint TV only works if you are doing BIS and not BES.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Your summing up is correct. Sprint TV is not included with the BES. If you don't have to have BES you can get everything (Sprint TV, Radio, Navigation, Web, and Text) unlimited for $30 on your Pearl.

I just received an 8130 from Sprint for my boss. We are running with an unlimited BES data plan and Sprint TV works on his device.

Call support back and maybe you will get someone who knows what is going on and you will (should) get the right pieces added to your plan. It is usually about a 25% chance that you will get a good support rep.

after splash screen loads, press MENU or PEARL button (can't remember which) and a sprint TV menu shows up.
