Problem with 9550 "clicking" after new lcd install

Hello All, I've been having this problem ever since I had a new LCD installed in my verizon storm 2 (the first lcd was cracked)
The phone scrolls normally if i try to scroll,
but when I try to click on anything, you hear a soft "ping" but no response, however the area that is being clicked lights up.
Any advice is appreciated
