Its MicroUSB as used by Motorola, LG, Plantronics, and others.

Its not too bad.. especially since RIM choose to NOT put a door/cover over the port.

My Moto V9m and LG Dare are really annoying as their port covers get in the way when I want to connect the charger. Remove the cover, and it looks like garbage.

The cover not being here makes this a Dream and easy to use.

PS: yes, they make Mini-B to MicroUSB adapters that allow you to re-use your current Mini-B adapters, car chargers, and usb cables if you want.
