I AM the OP!!! The ball has grip to it. Not as slippery hence why it's more accurate. Could be the rollers making the clicking, I can take or leave that I just want some rough balls! ha! Ha!

LOL

the feel/etc i think is not in the ball, my curve ball is smooth, yet i have the new rough roll feeling in it. my 8830 has a smooth roll in it, and to me both balls are the same, smooth.

i should swap them but thats too much work.

My ball is not selecting when clicked in any more.
Do I need a new one or should I try cleaning it?
Is this a common failure?
still scrolls well, just doesn't select and I have to use the menu buttton and return key.
Kind of a pain but not so bad.
