Doing a search for info about some issues I have with Cortado Connect used in conjuction with Box.net I ran across this post.

That thread is closed for some reason. Anyone have any idea why this thread on this subject of Cortado Connect would have been closed? There is no apparent reason whatsoever for that thread's closing.

In any case........ I am wondering why there isn't any discussion on the problems with Cortado Connect. Are there so few users of this program with Box.net? This could be a good product if they cared to correct the issue of the BB asking for an OK twice just to expand a local folder on the BB.

First off, the Firewall on the BB must be disabled for Cortado Connect to even function (is this a good idea?) Then, even after giving all permissions in settings to "allow" it will ask you not once, but twice if it is OK to just for Cortado to have access to expand a local folder on your BB or Media card.

Talk about ridiculously annoying. Try going to a sub folder on your BB and have it ask you twice each and every time you need to expand a local folder. Absolutely Ridiculous!!!

As an example of how annoying this can be:

When navigating within Cortado Connect to a local folder to upload a file to Box.net or to download from Box.net to a specific folder:

To get to: SD Card/Blackberry/Documents/Work/Spreadsheets Folder on my SD Card I am asked a total of ten times (twice each time for 5 times for each folder expansion) to finally reach this Local Folder (Spreadsheets) on the SD Card.

Isn't anyone else unhappy with all this annoying monkey business just to expand local folders when navigating to a file or folder to download or upload files at or to Box.net when within Cortado Connect? And is there any solution to be rid of this ridiculous annoyance?

This could be a good and useful tool if there is a cure for or if Cortado cared to fix this ridiculous annoying problem.
