Please Login to Remove!

OK, SO I love(d) my Iphone and now I hate my 3g.. its total garbage and Apple has abandoned its customers .

BUT.....

My biggest problem with this phone is simple.

WILL IT WORK OUTSIDE THE USA?? I travel alot and this is the deal breaker for me. Will it work on GSM?

Based on current speculation... That is correct. Everything is pretty much still rumor. Not much hard details on the 9500 yet.

Be careful jumping on the 9500. Keep in mind that it WILL be a first gen touchscreen device...I believe that there will be glitches with it as well.

Actually, the glitches are being worked out as i'm typing this. The last one i know of is a MMS problem but it was only on certain Thunders, not all.

Awesome!

How is the typing compared to other touchscreens?

First of all, i'm just telling you what credible insiders have already said. I don't personally have first knowledge but from being on different forums for a few years now, i know who has real info. As for the touchscreen, its designed so you don't make mistakes while typing. That's a big part of the UI. It has 'localized haptic feedback'. You touch the letter and it feels like you are pressing an actual qwerty keyboard button. This is new technology.

Before this turns into an Apple bash fest, the Bold also seems to be having its share of problems as well.

My question is do we think this will be a true international phone and work on the Japan and South Korean cell networks like the Bold is supposed too.
