Default SEVERAL issues suddenly today with messages !!

Please Login to Remove!

Please help me! I loved my BB, but now I am regretting getting it at all.

I am recieveing emails that are from "network@etp.na.blackberry.net". They all have a subject line that consists of "RIM_...(then a whole bunch of letters and numbers)". Each email reads "that I can not delete or move it because it is being used to carry data between handheld and an assiociated server".
I have recieved 12 of these emails today alone!!

And now, I no longer recieve SMS or MMS messages. Sometimes, it will buzz me to let me know one has arrived, but then the icon disappears before I can open it. I seem to be recieving all emails from my 4 different email accounts...well, at least I think I am.

I am also not recieving all phone calls. It either goes to voicemail or tells the caller that I am out of network service area, which I'm not.

Are all these issues related?

What are these emails from blackberry?

Do I need to contact T-Mobile? Or Backberry directly?

Thanks!!

The emails from BB sound like you are using Desktop Redirector to forward your emails. Are you using DR?

My company would not add me to their BB Enterprise server for me due to very limited space, so they suggested that I set up a Gmail account and have all my work emails forwarded to that email. And then add my gmail account to my BB. Which I did.

Is that what caused all this?

Yes, sort of.

If you do as mentioned in the FAQ link , you will be fine.

Am I going to lose anything from my device or outlook desktop by reinstalling everything again?

Also, everything worked fine until 3 days ago when I set up the gmail account on my BB.

No, you won't lose messages, you will lose the junk messages you have been receiving.

That is because you must have gotten setup with desktop redirector in the beginning.

It really is a simple process, you are reinstalling Desktop Manager on your PC again, withOUT the Redirector option (which is where the junk emails are coming from). You are not messing with the OS on your BB.

Removing the Service Books as instructed will cause you no grief either.

after ALL this, if you see that you are getting duplicate GMail of everything you send from the BB, read this: http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...-handheld.html

Good luck.

OK, I reinstalled desktop manager following the directions. But now, I am not recieving any email messages. I am able to send emails succesfully.

And I continue to not be able to recieve any SMS or MMS messages. I can send successfully.

Is this related to the same issue or is this something else?

Check with your carrier on SMS/MMS. SMS issues tend to be carrier provisioning issues.

Also try logging into BIS and resending your service books.
