Default How to unlink PIN? (thinking of selling my Bold)

Please Login to Remove!

I'm not sure how to ask this but what happens if I want to sell my Bold.. will the next owner start getting all my BBM messages because the PIN is linked to the device?

How do I disable or unlink my PIN yet have the phone be usable for the next owner?? thanks!

You call your carrier and ask them to unregister or remove your PIN from your BIS account.

If you get another BlackBerry device, registering the new on your BIS account will UNregister the old one from the account, and free it.

The PIN will ALWAYS be linked to that specific BB and it can't be changed nor reassigned. As JSanders said, you do want to be sure that you unregister that BB from your account.
