I just saw Missing Sync updated for BB. Anybody try it yet? Just curious how it's working.

I am running 2.03 on my MacBook Pro & a Bold 9000, no issues. I heard there was an update that hands 5.0 but haven't gotten the notification yet.

With the Mac DM officially released, i doubt there are many MissingSync BB users any longer. Guess they had to do something to try to compete.

I tried the DM yesterday on my Mac, pros & cons with it. Pros I could pick & choose what I wanted installed or uninstalled & find updates.
I couldn't see my contacts on my Bold after syncing even though they would appear when I composed and email or sms. I tried battery pull & also waiting 15 min. but they still wouldn't show.
I switched back to Missing Sync & fixed the issue also got the update, works flawlessly so far.

I dumped Missing Sync, even though it was working fine for me. DM is working fine.

I used both PocketMac and Missing Sync in the past, but with Mac BlackBerry Desktop Software they're both obsolete. And considering how good the free client is from RIM, it's insane to pay for Missing Sync.

Missing Sync works better than any other program at this time, and even syncs photo's and movies to iPhoto. And its a LOT faster at syncing music that the Mac DM.

PocketMac for BlackBerry has also come out with a new version, which allows for faster syncing, syncing with the Snow Leopard, an easier interface and it is overall easier to use. Check it out

Desktop Manager for Mac is out and appears to be working well.

poolbizz, I hope you know that you commented on a somewhat "old" post which began this past February and your quote was from early April?
