have had my 7100i for just over 1 year,
Not sure if its a battery issue, or phone voltage not reading battery correctly.
have my phone to autoshutoff every night
and i charge it,
fully charged battery in the morning.
if i dont use my phone it starts to lose battery life by 5 pm
if i so much as make 1-2 phone calls, by noon my battery is in the red,
and losing all wireless and calls due to low battery.
on occassion it would read 0% battery life remaining for the rest of the day
yet phone doesnt shut off off at low battery,
just reads 0% all day,
it would also jump from 0% battery to +70% battery life remaining, by turning it off.
but as soon as i make a call, or receive a call it disconnects due to low battery.
and go back and forth from low battery to charged battery in no time


Am willing to buy a new battery, but before i do so, would like to know if this is a bad battery issue, or Phone issue not reading the battery life.

Does warranty cover new batteries?

Since you can charge it, I am blaming the battery. Obviously, the best way to test is to use a new battery.

NO there is no warranty over new batteries . Before to take it you should check and see it carefully in the all the ways.
