I have a 8130 Verizon Pearl that i would like to sync up to my older iMac that is running the original OS X version of Entourage. I found threads discussing the problems people are having with the '08 version of Entourage but nothing about setting up the older version. I'm assuming since I'm working from my home computer and not on a server that I have to do daily syncing via the USB cable? I'd be happy with that. Any thoughts?

That is correct, you must sync "wired" unless you are on a BES/MES.

You also need a PocketMac (free) or MissingSync (commercial) software.

The latest version of PocketMac works quite well wlth the latest version of Office for Mac. I don't know how it will work with the older version. The only way is to try it!

PocketMac for BlackBerry 4.1.25 supports synching with both Entourage 2008 and Entourage 2004.

They may say the latest version works with Entourage 2008, but in reality it doesnt.

I had pocket mac working seamlessly until I upgraded to Entourage 2008. Now I can only sync calendar items. Contacts crashes pocket mac....
Amazingly frustrating.
