Default Is incoming SMS considered part of your data usage?

Silly question, but I was wondering if anyone can confirm for sure if incoming SMS eats away and a standard data plan for BES/BIS?

I get a fair amount of server alerts/notifications by email and would consider switching those to SMS if needed; with Bell, you get "unlimited incoming SMS" but they don't specify if that eats up part of the 4/8/30/1000 megabytes of data on your data plan.

No, it won't as both works on different technology.
