Ford outsells Ferrari, but I don't know anyone who wants one do you?

McDonalds sells more burgers than anyone. You think they have the best burger?

You seem to equate volume with superiority where in almost all cases the opposite is true.

I think you arguing that Ferrarri is akin to Apple in the PC world is a bit much. For the price of some of those Apple laptops, id much much much rather get an alienware, or even build one myself. The hardware is much better. Is your argument is that Apple's OS is better, or their hardware, or both?

Apple is better because he says so. The numbers don't back up anything (I don't see anyone disputing the 7.3% - out of the mouth of Jobs himself) but that's OK. Apple is better.

This is fun

I hear the next Apple conference will be in Guyana.

I guess you'd have to say the whole experience. There' a reason people with money and taste overwhelmingly use Macs. It's not even something you can debate. What else can people as opposite as Al Gore and Rush Limbaugh agree on? Mac. In fact, I challenge you to find someone significant in our culture that doesn't use a Mac. The people who make our music, our movies, our tv shows, our art, our literature, our laws, run our corporations, the people who define our society generally use Mac. 7.3%? Sure, but the 7.3% of our society that matter.

How do you fit your head through the door.

Your arrogance is stunning. Someone significant in our culture.

You are evangelical. The Applie Marketing Department MUST hire you. iPods for everyone

And when they graduate, guess what - THEY USE PCs!

Unless they become artists or consultants. You know, people that matter.

Such arrogance

Did you know that Apple uses Microsoft Sharepoint for collaboration. I guess your head will explode over that one!

Bill Gates. Donated over $38 billion to help cure diseases. What has Jobs done to make the world better.

Argument over. Sorry. You lost.

That was actually too easy.

Instead of name calling let's discuss facts. I challenge you to prove me wrong. Who do you admire? Sports star? Actor? Public figure? Scientist? Find one that uses Windows and I'll find you ten more that are bigger that use Mac. Why IS that? Why is it that the people who have the money to buy ANY product always buy Macs?

Except Bill Gates and Michael Dell (and I have my doubts there).

No exceptions - you said find one person.
I did.

How can you possibly prove that everyone important person uses a Mac. That must mean that every one of the 7.3% is an important decision maker/cultural warrior and the rest (>93%) are fools. It isn't logical.

You can not prove it is any way, so this discussion is pointless. Join forces with the Linux guys and see how you do.

Business is Microsoft centric. It is - really - just go to any corporate office (I know, they are evil and you are in California). Reality is hard - Microsoft still owns the desktop.

I am impressed with your passion - it is very impressive. Not even misplaced. Very refreshing.

But you can't honestly think that Apple rules the world, can you?

Party pooper.

OK, I'm done. Haven't had this much fun in a while (I think Rivviepop and I got into it on how Linux was ruling the world)

I'm guessing you haven't been with many Fortune 500 CEO's, or more importantly, in their homes, but again Macs rules the day.

Can Apple rule the world? No I don't think so. But for mind share in the most important demographics Apple OWNS it.

Seriously - do you know anyone passionate about Windows? Why is that?
