Default 5.0 Issues

Please Login to Remove!

I just updated my OS, and I am having the following issues:

1. Lock: I can't seem to lock my phone so that it requires a password. Is this so? Now I only toggle between lock/unlock using the top button.

2. Stand by: I can't put my phone on stand by anymore?

3. SMS in BBM: Some random texts are showing in my BBM chats list.

4. Lag: When I leave my phone idle for a while and pick it up, it takes time to light up. It first lights up a black screen, sometimes it does the little clock, and then finally my screen shows up.

If anyone can provide me insight regarding the aforementioned issues, I would greatly appreciate it!!!!

I didn't have this problem on a few tours I updated. But there are numerous people stating this issue.

2. Stand by: I can't put my phone on stand by anymore?
Didn't run into this problem myself, but once again, there are quite a few stating this.

3. SMS in BBM: Some random texts are showing in my BBM chats list.
This is normal. Any BBM contacts that are linked to your address book/contact list, their SMS convos will show up in BBM as well. It's kind of annoying cause if you "close" the SMS convo, it will delete the whole SMS convo history with that person. I hate this. It's a 5.0 feature (wish you can turn it off). Only way around it, is to "remove contacts link"

4. Lag: When I leave my phone idle for a while and pick it up, it takes time to light up. It first lights up a black screen, sometimes it does the little clock, and then finally my screen shows up.
I've noticed this too. Kind of annoying. I've also noticed that the 8530 curve on Sprint does this as well. Must be a 5.0 issue. My T-Mo 9700 (running 5.0 obviously) doesn't have this issue.

If anyone can provide me insight regarding the aforementioned issues, I would greatly appreciate it!!!!

I should note, the tours that I updated didn't have any info on it. It was a clean wipe, return to factory settings.

I'm having the same problems but the main thing that bugs me is when i hit the lock button i want my password to come up, now i need to wait a minute until it locks automatically

Is there a way to make the password come up manually?

I'm assuming you're using the new .484? I had the same issues and went back to .419 because I use the standby all the time.

In regards to #4, .419 does that from time to time too.

It seems as though .419 isn't available... am I looking in the wrong place? I am accessing it through the link provided in the top thread. Thanks for the help!
