Default BB 8520 as tethered modem

Hey BB helpers

I have read through some forums recently and stumbled across a thread on crackberry. The solution that was given to the person with the same problem, was given a list with steps to use the BB device as an external modem via USB. The list had 5 steps; 1:install BB S/W,2:set up APN, 3:configure dial-up, 4:connect BB device, and 5:connect to internet via dial-up. I have followed all these steps and have successfully managed to connect to the internet hassle free. But my problem lies with the browser on the laptop, I'm connected to the internet via BB modem, but once I type in the URL and it hit "GO" in the browser it loads and loads.... Till it stops without displaying anything in the browser!!! «Frustrated face» Can anyone help please???

Carriers can detect a tethered blackberry and block the service if they charge and the users does not pay for the service. If the BB browser works ok and the tethered PC browser does not i would suggest they detected it.
