@GBX

Strange, I just switched my 8310 to the today theme, called and left voice mail. However, I didn't get a window that popped up. You are using the BB Dimension Today?

Many thanks to those of you who paved the way -
I printed out the instructions, checked-off on each step and got 4.5.0.52 running within 2 hours without any issues....

Hi All,

Just installed the new OS 4.5 for my 8320 Curve. I am having the problem of the phone resetting itself for few seconds. I read through all the posting and following wonderful John's instruction by wipe clean the previous OS and taking the Memory Card away while installing the new 4.5 OS. After several installation of various methods, the BB is still resetting itself..help needed...or I need to go back to the previous OS..

Anyone knows the fix?

Thx.

You don't take it out while loading. The problem is having it in there at all. You need to copy everything off of the card, then reformat in OS 4.5. Then start moving things back over to the card. Here is more info:

Thanks John, I did not have anything in the BB while installing the new OS. Right now, I am not even using the Media Card. For every few min, my BB will reset and rescan for network. Anything wrong I did?? Don't know what is going on with that....

Again much thanks.

netzaper, his would be one of the first to report that.

If his browser icons are missing it is due (normally) to one of several factors:
-Service Books not pushed
-Browser hidden
-Browser in a folder
-No data plan

AFTER activation, while powered on, remove the battery, hold a few seconds, replace and reboot. Does he have the Browser Service Book.. that would be one item to look at on the BB.

Just courious if anyone is seeing extended re-boot times. 2-5 Min.

Thanks for the great info.

Decide what version OS you desire... and have at it.

Find previous OS versions by looking at the bottom of the first post in each OS thread, normally we link the previous version.

Is there anything special I would have to do to make sure that an OS from Italy loads in US English?

I'm observing a specific memory leak. Every time I start Help and the exit Help, I see File Free decrease by 1304 bytes. I've tried this with some other apps, and not seen the same behavior. Does this mean that Help has the memory leak?
I exit help by using menu->Close, not by using the red button.

Not sure. I haven't had "Help" loaded to my device in a couple of years.
