...and third, when I try a custom alarm, it won't play the alarm in the set up screen. I have not left it to see if it would play at the time of the event.

Hope my input helps. Looking forward to next release!

First, it seems i can't pull up the options menu unless i'm below the filter line. For example, in the task list, if I'm in the top line next to the filter funnel, the options menu won't come up unless i move down to the first task.
I am a beta tester and reported the same issue. Pending its correction, when the search filter is focused you have to press the Menu key twice to get the options menu.

IMO this is related to SureType as it defaults to its internal dictionary for choices. I owned a Pearl (now a Curve, which lacks SureType ) and remember that when SureType's letter choice was not what you wanted, you could scroll the thumbwheel to the sides to choose the right letter from your pressed key. Check your phone's manual for details.

Complete the word so that it is saved for future SureType use.

I used it for the Pocket PC and loved it. I would be very interested for the BlackBerry.

Does anyone know how to make this app scroll thru the day in Day View mode automatically much like the Blackberry Calendar? Very cumbersome to have to scroll through 24 Hours everytime I want to check my upcoming appointments.

AIK there is no auto scroll feature. Therefore, you can do either of the following:
  1. Use Simple Day View (Menu key > Options > Events > Day View > View Mode), which shows tasks and day events in a simpler screen. (If contents exceed 1 screenful, you still have to scroll.) This, or
  2. Use Classic Day View, but have the Start Position option set to Current Time or First Event.
I hope this helps.

PS In Day View, you may press the V key to switch between Classic and Simple views. If not working, go to Menu key > Options > Keyboard and select a key for the Toggle View Options option.

PPS Another idea: Agenda View shows a simpler view, w/as many days as you set it to show...

Despite having the option set to scroll down by using the space bar, the space bar does nothing. Any input?

Thanks I see that now and that works for that, but shouldn't the space bar do other stuff also?

I believe the spacebar scroll feature works for list-type views (e.g. Agenda, Contacts). Though Task View is indeed a list, the spacebar marks off tasks as completed, as you have noticed.

I'm not sure, I've never used anything other than the BB Pim, and my BB is my first smartphone so I don't have the largest amount of knowledge on the matter. But with that said, I'm sure as time progresses and PIBB matures the space bar will do more, would be neat if it would expand appointments, or something so you could read notes etc.

I'm not sure. Did you try to download PI from the link I gave you? You should be able to do so, and then input you registration code into the program once it's installed on your device.

You can do that right now: Just scroll to the desired item w/the BB trackball and press the trackball.

If the item is a day in Week or Month View, PIBB will show that day in Day View (if so configured). If it is an appointment, contact or task, its details are shown on screen.

allen2oo3, the link provided by CSO takes you to a PIBB forum page with yet another link in the 1st post. I cut and pasted the link for your benefit: Index of /FTF/PIBB/Beta

As seen, the above link takes you to the page where you can download the latest PIBB build. Remember to add your registration (if not coming up automatically upon startup, go to Menu key > Options> About) or PIBB will work in Trial Mode (full functionality, limited data in).

I hope this helps.

PS A suggestion: Register 1st, then sync your data in. (If installing over an older, registered build, you may not have to register again. New builds always resync regardless of registration.)
