Exclamation Very Weird E-mail issue (HELP)!!

Please Login to Remove!

Quick question!

It seems that an e-mail addy has slipped into my berry but it isn't in my address book nor in my Outlook!!

For example, when I compose an e-mail starting with the letter "P" the drop down address book shows all the contacts that start with "P" and it's just there!

It's as if it's somehow memorizing an address from a spam e-mail I received.

How can I get rid of it??

Thanks!

You can go to Contacts and delete it-as to how it got there, I am not aware of any way that could happen, unless it was manually entered into one of your PC address books, or directly into the BlackBerry.

Do you keep your BlackBerry locked when not in use?

Are you sure it's not in your address book? Do you have a filter set and that address may not be in the filter. Go into your address book and clear all filters. If it shows in the drop down, it would have to be in your address book.

Yup, it's no where to be found, only appears when composing an e-mail and all my filters are off!!

Try this:

Create a new email, use the offending contact. Once the contact is in the message header, highlight it, hit the Blackberry key and select edit contact. This should take you to the contact definiton. From here hit the Blackberry key, and select Delete Contact.
