My wifi wasn't working on my bb 9000. I thought the problem was in the bb itself but when i remove the sim, the wifi works beautifully. Once i put the sim on it gives me this message:

(Unable to connect to the Internet, please try again later.
If the problem persists please contact your service provider)

When I put the network setting to 3G&2G or just 3G it never works and it gives me this message

It works sometimes with 2G setting

My sister has the same mobile and with 3G setting , her wifi works fine.

Do I have to update the sim? I don't know what to say to my network ... What is my problem? and how can I solve it?

Try logging into your BIS account, and click on Devices and Resend service books.

Power off your device and then power them back on and see if that solves it.

My reason of thought is it sounds like your WiFi service book is either corrupt or missing.

I solved the problem but I want to know what you suggested ... kindly explain

Where you setup your email addresses to be pushed to your device; where you resend service books when your device stops connecting.
