Yellow Check Icon on Home Screen
Please Login to Remove!
Folks,
Am using Bold 9700 and today a yellow check marked appeared at the top of my home screen and I can't seem to figure out what it is. It is a check mark with the number 1 after it. I am assuming there is "one of something" that I have not read. Initially I thought it might be a Task/To Do reminder, but it is not.
I did a search and couldn't find anything that helps me. Any of you out there had or are having this issue and if so, can you give me some feedback as to what this icon is.
Thanks in advance.
Doug

Wirelessly posted
The missed call icon is the closest thing to a yellow check mark.

Thanks for responding John, Ringer and Ira. I did a hard reset and the check mark went away. I should have done this first before bothering everyone and I apologize. I think what happened is that I had two missed calls and I responed to one, but deleted the other one (same caller).
John- took a picture with my digital camera, but couldn't figure out how to post it in my reply. I still have the picture if someone can tell me how to post.
Ringer-None of the icons you listed were like what was on my BB. Thanks for providing a list.
Ira-Thanks for your response also.

Instead of writing in the box under this thread, click the "Go advanced" button.
Above the box to write in, is a paperclick icon. Click it, browse for the image, and upload.
It will attach it to the post.

If you wouldn't mind posting it I'd be interested in seeing the icon as I couldn't figure out what it could be. Sometimes 3rd party apps put icons on the homescreen - could it possibly be one of those? Or a messenger app possibly?

Howard,
If you guide me how to post, I'd be more than happy to post. I took a picture of the check mark with my digital camera (.jpg) file. I have it on my computer desktop. Pls tell me how to transfer from computer to a reply in this forum.
Thanks
Doug

It may be a Task Reminder
I think it may be a Task setup with a Reminder. Good luck.

Nice job on the post. Never saw that one before. What apps (not core) do you have installed?

I believe thats a 3rd party theme?
Themes can change icons for notifications, so unless it appears again, and you swap to a different theme and see if it changes, we might not know.

Hadn't considered a 3rd party theme. Makes sense.
